Hello, built a projector a while ago and realize many of us have no use for the backlight inverter for driving the two bulbs which are the backlight. A friend's lcd backlight inverter shorted out and I am hoping someone has one sitting around that isn't being used. the monitor is a daewoo f227b that i can't find any info about but any inverter should work. THanks guys for hopefully giving me a hand with this.

I hope you understand that these inverters run at something like 1000V to start so don't try this unless you really understand power electronics.

arent backlight inverters 12v?

They take 12V (or whatever they were design for) and turn it into HV AC.
