This is Darligton transistor Solid stage amp. I found this in a Turkish Amp Book. i tried it.
Super responce with about 300W power. It drive my 12" sub to provide powerfull and shaking bass. have a look to schem. and proto pics.     hope you like it |

Specification for the AMP was in Turkish. But i find it very quite and clear beats. Since i am using it as Subwoofer amp.
I part list and schem. will be posted soon. Yes you can increase it's power by adding two darlington pair(TIP142/147). and increasing supply voltage. **** caustion :- since my drive transistor(TIP41c /42c) can handle 80V so i run it on +- 35V DC replace (TIP41c /42c) with BD911/912 which can handle 100v and run with +-45 VDC you can get up to 450W. how much replace (TIP41c /42c) with BD911/912 will effect THD i dont know.. For the PSU, this will be fed from AC power, looks like straight from the transformer, I'd say probably 42V, given the spec of the TIP147 and TIP142 output devices. That's going to give +/- 60VDC after rectification and filtering. (It certainly won't be more than this, considering that the secondary filter caps are rated for 63V. For safety reasons, I'd probably keep my AC voltage to about 35VAC, for +/- 50VDC rails.
It looks like a relatively simple design. I see no current limiting, short circuit protection, or even a way to adjust the bias current. (Though if I had to guess, I'd figure that the 3 diodes in the top center of the board are probably doing this via the voltage drop.) -------------------- -- In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice.
