You want the new resolution to be run in the native resolution timings or everything will be not as sharp and blurry.

For a 16:9 screen from a 4:3, you want a resolution of 1024*576
You can copy these timings, then paste them in the custom timings for a simpler route (everything inbetween the = signs): = PowerStrip timing parameters: 1024x768=1024,40,136,144,768,4,6,28,65027,2054 Generic timing details for 1024x768: HFP=40 HSW=136 HBP=144 kHz=48 VFP=4 VSW=6 VBP=28 Hz=60 Linux modeline parameters: "1024x768" 65.027 1024 1064 1200 1344 768 772 778 806 -hsync -vsync = peace -------------------- "Become like the nature of water"
