Today I purchased my first-ever flat-screen monitor, and I can't seem to get the hang of the so-called buttons. sad.gif I managed to power it up with a sort of pinching motion where the power light is, but for the life of me, I can't push the M (for Menu) button to adjust the display! huh.gif A friend of mine tried it and had the Brightness control on the screen as we were on our way out the door, but that's still not a menu. I've got flat circles and fuzzy letters, and I really, ohnoes.gif REALLY want to get to that menu! I noticed elsewhere on this site that you have pictures of opened-up electronics. Perhaps if I could visualize what it is I'm supposed to be pressing, I could get this thing to work? unsure.gif Thanks for your help.

I think on the one I had, the buttons were actually a flap of plastic, then when pushed bent; and depressed a rubber nipple looking type thing. I cant remember if they are grey or black. Either way that rubber piece has a small contact on it, that when pushed it touches the circuit board and sends a signal.

Consider the fact that it just may be faulty/defective. Also, can you provide a good picture of the control button area? Have you checked for a website? Is there a manual for it?
