Hello Lumenlab community

Some update and new result linked, if you already seen my forum before, jump here. Upgrade image quality

I am new in Projector but used to be computer mod guy. Also my technical background built in aviation field because I've been flight instructor for several years. I know little bit about aerodynamic stuff that make it cool temp or so.

It was a very interesting challenge, and this home made projector became a yellow treasure just jumped in my life path.

you can see the picture below that show most of setting the screen, projector position and size. Projector itself not polished yet but let's share the some ideas here.

>Samsung 152N 15 inch monitor => may be little slow respond time but not that much noticceable (I am super sensitive), good picture quality.

>Lens kit from lumenlab

>Screen (black out) from Lumnlab

>light and ballasted from 1000bulbs.com => got a ballast which is very heavy one chosen by my misjudgment but works.

> For the entertainment => I hook up the computer for all the playing DVD, VCR, and TV through WinTV PVR150. Altec 5.1 dell oem speakers.

>Software => I installed every possible codec for video and audio, and using Zoom player which is good one.

Thank god, my apartment got large space. That makes possible to stand large screen on side. It's about 10 to 11 feet from screen to projector.

Yellow and red are most bright and strong color for my projector after control the color adjustment several times. Blue is still beauty but not as yellow or red.

Hero Movie Screen Shot,

Well, "75mhz refresh rate" of LCD monitor usually give us more quality but It make a blinking problem. If somebody has some nice solution or setting for getting better quality, Please let us know.

These drawings.are used for this project. I did hundreds of corrections and researching to make it better. However, I like to say "Just do start it" and make correction during the work. Of course you need time for preparation before go through but do not wait for long time. It's worthy enough to start work now ^__^.

I have some idea of setting computer but not in wood work. Threrefore; the projector is not that pretty but image.

Please Do not follow or copy my drawings, there are some mistaken in measurment. Just use for references..

Wires.. Very simple

I use "230W AT computer power supply" for cooling fans with switch.

I didn't even completely strip off LCD monitor, just half of them and attached power and control unit still in monitor case. And I put that part body under the projetor case, not in it. I will take some picutre later to post it.
